Golden Mummies of Egypt

Nomad Exhibitions approached me to create the AV’s for their touring exhibition Golden Mummies of Egypt, which centred on eight mummies from the Manchester Museum collection. The project comprised of 3 projected films and 2 interactive digital displays.

Meet the Gods.

In an attempt to understand the role of Egyptian Gods, we highlight some of the most significant deities, to discover their history and the iconography that depicts them.

Temple Architecture.

We discover the key Graeco-Roman temples along the River Nile, such as Edfu, Dendera, Philae and unveil their history, architecture and historical importance.

CT-Scan Interactive.

Using innovative visualisation technology, we brought cutting-edge CT-scans to life. Visitors can digitally peel back the mummy layers, discover what lies beneath the wrappings and explore the interactive 3D mummy.

Hieroglyph Interactive.

A fun and playful interactive, introducing visitors to the Egyptian Hieroglyphs. Users can decode ancient hieroglyphs, create a cartouche of their name and learn about the Gods, by playing a game of match the pairs.
